Dave also addressed many other related areas of food safety such as farm to fork traceability system and also stressed that it was important for all food exporters, importers and producers to adhere to food safety regulations after studying them.
The session gave all the attendees an opportunity to discuss the hurdles in the export and import regulations of India which encouraged questions and answers session.
The session witnessed the announcement of the launch of Zespri KiwiFruit which is seen as one of the growing markets in India.
