Adaa, Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyd, ranks among world’s top 100 restaurants

fiogf49gjkf0d Adaa, a restaurant at Taj Falaknuma Palace, has been named among the world’s top 100 in the fourth annual poll of readers by a private jet lifestyle publication.
The hotel in Hyderabad, led by executive chef Arun Sundararaj, was one of 17 new entries on the countdown, ranking at number 100 on this year’s list. Delhi-based restaurant Indian Accent also made the ‘ones to watch’ list – a list of five restaurants to watch out for in the 2016 awards. India’s first entries into the awards reflect the continual development of haute cuisine in India.
In first place overall was Chicago’s Alinea, a progressive, molecular gastronomy-led restaurant which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Second place in the awards went to the Spanish restaurant El Celler de Can Roca.
On being named chef of the year, Daniel Humm, commented: "It’s very humbling to receive such an honour, especially one voted on by the diners. Our team works incredibly hard and this accomplishment validates all that work and intensity. It will inspire us to work even harder, to push one another, and to strive for perfection even more.
