In order to expand their business in India, I-Brands Beverages, an alcoholic beverages company, is looking for startegic partners.

Sharing details with FnB News, Lisa Srao, owner, I-Brands Beverages, explained, “In order to drive our sales upwards and consolidate our business, we are currently looking for strategic partners. This is the right time for institutional funding and also to link with strategic partners because we see potential in the $9 billion industry growing at the rate of 10 per cent per annum. With 450 million people of drinking age and another 150 million joining in the next five years, and few pan-India players, it is a very lucrative industry.”

Presently the company is operating in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand in the north and also in Goa and Puducherry.

Srao stated, “Recently we received our first paramilitary orders.”

The company has four products in its portfolio and they are a premium whisky brand - Three Royals (Rs 350 to 735 for 750 ml); a deluxe whisky brand - Granton (Rs 230-495 for 750 ml); Jamaican flavoured dark rum - Rum 99 (Rs 210-330 for 750 ml); and French brandy -Granton XO (Rs 280 for 750 ml).
