Indian Institute of Packaging’s pkg mgt students recruited by Flipkart

fiogf49gjkf0d E-tailer Flipkart has hired packaging management students from the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP).
N C Saha, who helms the institute, said, “E-commerce companies are potentially our greatest recruiters going forward. I am happy that Flipkart has found the skills of our students relevant in the changing world.”
Ashish Jhalani, founder of eTailing India, one of the country’s leading e-commerce advisory, knowledge and events firms, said, “E-commerce companies do have their priorities elsewhere at present. This includes technology upgrades, customer acquisitions, marketing via social media, television, etc.”
“There is very little time for innovation in logistics, but there is plenty of potential for innovation. I believe the rest of the industry would follow Flipkart, which has identified and taken the leap,” he added.
