fiogf49gjkf0d Savemax, a modern wholesaler and retailer, expanded its footprint in Uttar Pradesh by opening its new store in Eros Market opposite DPS, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. It is the chain’s fifth outlet in India. On offer are a wide range of food items, including groceries, processed foods, and bakery. It would have a live bakery and a food court.
Be it individuals, shopkeepers, restaurateurs, caterers or traders, they can purchase a wide range of products at wholesale prices. Moreover, they don’t have to be members to purchase goods at Savemax, and there is no restrictions on the quantity they can buy (i.e. they can buy a single piece or in bulk).
Vaibhav Singhal, chief executive officer, Savemax said, “Opening our first store in Indirapuram during the festive season is a moment of great joy for us. It is our fourth store in the National Capital Region (NCR). The overwhelming response we got from our customers in Delhi and Haryana inspired us to expand to other parts of the country.”
“Our new store would offer customers efficient management, high service standards, high-quality products and a one-stop solution to all their household needs at wholesale prices. We are driven by the philosophy of offering a wholesale shopping experience to every customer on a daily basis,” he added.
“We always try to be within easy reach of our customers, and each of our store locations have been strategically identified keeping in mind the convenience of our customers,” Singhal said. Savemax’s Indirapuram store is spread across a massive area of 42,000sq ft.
This Diwali, Savemax is offering sweets such as soan papdi, atta laddoo and besan laddoo made in desi ghee, and an economically-priced assortment of snacks under the Purani Dilli brand. Its gift packs would contain dry fruit, farsaans and namkeens.
Savemax aims to run 20 fully-operational stores in various states by 2017. The company is looking at a capital expenditure of Rs 300-400 crore to achieve this goal. With the launch of these stores, Savemax would have an area of over seven lakh sq ft of retail space.
