"We are looking at doing this specialised event of Aahar 2006 to make people aware of the brand and the new concept or recipe mixes it has to offer," said sales manager, Arun Ganguly.

On expectations from Aahar 2006, Arun Ganguly, said, "With the Union Budget of 2006-07 focusing and giving subsidies on the processed food sector, we are expecting a huge amount of attention, particularly to this event which is being held immediately after the Budget. The fair acts as a platform for the industry to come in close contact with the trade and the end consumers and showcase their products effectively."

Speaking on the benefits to be gained from an event of this stature, Arun Ganguly opined, "Many foreign food companies participating in the event are aware of the huge potential Indian market has and will be looking for a partner for the Indian market. The SAFTA Agreement also gives incentives to the SAARC countries to trade more among themselves. So we might see more interest on this event from our neighbours. More joint ventures, franchisees and other match-making agreements are expected in the event."
