Marvel Tea gets export order from UAE

ort order for 80,000 kg of tea from the UAE. The company, which sells tea under two brands, Marvel and Maryada, would execute the orders by June-end. Haryana-based Marvel Tea registered sales of 12 million kg with 30% growth during the last fiscal. The company targets to sell 20 million kg in 2007-08. Besides, the company is planning to launch tea bags and a coffee brand as per its expansion drive. Tea exports from India stood at Rs 411 crore with a volume of 44.05 million kg during January-March this year, against Rs 377 crore from 44.9 million kg in the same period last year.
