Varun Beverages files Draft Red Herring Prospectus for offering with SEBI

fiogf49gjkf0d Varun Beverages, one of the largest franchisee in the world outside USA of carbonated soft drinks and non-carbonated beverages sold under trademarks owned by PepsiCo, has filed a Draft Red Herring Prospectus for public offering of up to 2.5 crore equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each with SEBI. This is offered to the retail individual bidders and the eligible employees bidding.
There is also a fresh issue of up to 1.5 crore equity shares and an offer for sale of up to 5,000,000 equity shares each held by Varun Jaipuria and Ravi Kant Jaipuria & Sons.
The offer share also comprises a net offer to the public not exceeding 5% of the post offer paid up equity share capital.
The global coordinators and book running lead managers to the offer are Kotak Mahindra Capital, Axis Capital and CLSA India Private Limited. The Book Running Lead Manager to the offer is YES Securities (India), as per a release issued to the Indian bourses.
Varun Beverages is the flagship company of the RKJ Group headquartered in Noida. It manufactures and markets beverages including Pepsi, 7UP, Tropicana Slice and packaged drinking water of Aquafina.
