Nashik-based Pause Wines is offering Indian Nectar, a white wine specialty.

According to the company, in India, something sweet after dinner is synonymous with wrapping up dinner on a sumptuous note. And hence Indian dinner tables are happily embracing the latest wine trend by integrating dessert wines as a healthy and heavenly dessert option. In tune with this trend, Indian Nectar is emerging as an alternative to conventional and heavy dessert options in India.

The product is a blend of selected grapes and enriched with the aromas of melon and honeydew. The wine is suited for a round and sweet palate, besides enhancing the after meal appeal, also effortlessly pairs with salads, ice creams and semi-sweet dishes.

Prepared to achieve just the right levels of sweetness, texture and structure, a lot of attention has been paid to achieve the exact notes of melon and honeydew aromas, according to the company.  It can be an ideal after-meal drink served between 8°C-10°C.

Rajesh Patil, CMD, Pause Wines, expressed, “Its onset of the festive season where exchanging sweets is a norm. We wish to add a new twist to this sweet trend with Indian Nectar and in the process introduce Indian wine lovers to a whole new and upcoming trend of dessert wines. And while a piece or portion of sweet may raise health concerns for someone, a glass of wine a day with or post a meal has its proven merit and appeal across the world.”

Priced at Rs 305 for 375 ml and Rs 625 for 750 ml, the product is available at all leading wine shops across India.
