NIFTEM-Kundli, Haryana, is set to become a hub of global food innovation as it prepares to host a high-impact conference focused on the future of sustainable and technology-based food systems. The event aims to bring together some of the brightest minds working at the intersection of food science, agritech, sustainability, business, and policy.

Designed for professionals passionate about reshaping the world’s food landscape, the conference will serve as a vibrant networking platform connecting academia, industry, researchers, startups, policymakers, investors, and international organizations. Participants will engage in a wide spectrum of activities including panel discussions, exhibitions, technical sessions, and both poster and oral presentations—making it a comprehensive knowledge-sharing forum.

The event will cover a diverse set of themes designed to address today’s most pressing challenges in the food sector. Key focus areas include digital technologies in food processing and supply-chain management, innovations in plant-based and alternative proteins, smart and clean-label food solutions, food safety and traceability, regulatory compliance, and nutraceutical advancements. Sessions will also explore sustainable processing techniques, waste valorization, circular economy models, postharvest innovations, and policy frameworks shaping next-generation food systems.

A wide range of participants—including students, academicians, scientists, agri-entrepreneurs, food industry leaders, consultants, and funding institutions—will have the opportunity to interact, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations.

To make the event accessible, early-bird registration fees have been kept competitive: Rs 1500 for Indian students, Rs 5000 for national delegates from academia and research, and Rs 9000 for industry delegates. Accompanying persons may register for Rs 1000. For international attendees, fees are set at USD 100 for students and USD 200 for industry and academic delegates.

With sustainability and food-tech innovation taking center stage globally, the upcoming conference at NIFTEM-K promises to be an essential platform for shaping the next era of food systems.
