AccorHotels and InterGlobe Hotels announced the opening of Hyderabad HITEC City, marking the debut of the economy brand in the city. Located in the heart of HITEC City, a technology hub, the hotel is accessible from Hyderabad International Convention Centre, which is managed by AccorHotels.

Speaking at the launch of the hotel, J B Singh, president and chief executive officer, InterGlobe Hotels, said, “The Pearl City is a perfect blend of leisure and business travel. Known for its heritage, history and tourist attractions, Hyderabad, has always been a destination of choice for travellers.”

“More recently, the city has also emerged as a popular destination for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE), and has seen several domestic and international business meetings and conferences,” he added.

“Along with AccorHotels, we are very happy to bring ibis to Hyderabad HITEC City, which is the ideal brand and offering for the frequent Hyderabad business traveller as well as the leisure traveller,” Singh said.

The hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, Spice It, offers buffet and a la carte menu options. It also offers the ibis signature Great Indian Breakfast, an eight-hour breakfast that runs from 4am to noon. The Hub is a lobby bar that provides a wide selection of beverages.

Jean-Michel Casse, senior vice-president, operation, AccorHotels India, said, “The thriving, centuries-old city of Hyderabad is renowned for its bustling metropolis and is fast becoming a growing business hub.”

“This is our first ibis in the city and our 42nd hotel in the country. The opening of this hotel caters to the growing needs of business as well as leisure travellers in the region,” he added.

“We are excited and proud to introduce the ibis brand to the iconic city of Hyderabad and we look forward to extending the brand’s signature service to guests travelling to the city,” said Rubin Cherian, general manager, ibis Hyderabad HITEC City.
