The Flavours of Monsoon menu is underway at Farzi Cafe, Massive Restaurants Pvt Ltd’s bistro in Lower Parel’s Kamala Mills. Between noon and 1am every day, patrons can sample a host of salads, tapas, mains, desserts and beverages.
The soups include Bhune Makhi with lemongrass chowder and Murgh Badami Shorba with almond nuggets. The Monsoon Basket comprises Malgapodi onion rings, Besant Nagar chillies, Tomato Wedges, Farzi Style Bombay Toastie and Coffee Cumin-spiked Crispy Shrimp with cinnamon paprika air from the tapas section.
From the main menu, vegetarians can opt for the Veg Thupka with Masala Maggi, Spicy Soy Nuggets or Wok-tossed Vegetable with Peanut and Tamarind Salad, while non-vegetarians can try the Chicken Chettinad with fresh coconut appam and Curry leaf black pepper khichdi with bay prawns.
These can be accompanied by cocktails, such as Berry Toddy, Apple Nectar Toddy, Plum and Peach Sangria. Rum and gin lovers can opt for the Monk style and Monsoon Collin. Those with a sweet tooth can end their meal with Masala Chai Payasam with Naankhatai Churros.
