Dream Valley Group inks tourism MoU with AP Economic Development Board

The Hyderabad-based Dream Valley Group has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) with an objective to boost the tourism sector and build a robust hospitality and luxury living ecosystem in the state.

As part of the MoU, Dream Valley Group has proposed the following:
  • A five-star golf resort in Visakhapatnam or Amaravathi
  • A beach resort in Yarada, Visakhapatnam or Machilipatnam
  • An adventure park in Gandikota or Araku
  • A yacht or houseboat in Papikondalu or the Konaseema River belt or Kolleru
  • Wildlife tourism in Maredumilli or Sri Venkateswara National Park or Alluri Sitaramaraju Forest in Prakasam District, Kurnool District, etc.
This MoU with the Government of Andhra Pradesh is aimed at boosting the state’s economy with tourism playing an important role. The state is adorned with attractive destinations, and Dream Valley Group, in association with the Andhra Pradesh government, will work towards making these places more accessible to domestic and international travellers.

Santosh Reddy, chairman, Dream Valley Group, said, “We are extremely delighted to partner with Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board to build the tourism and hospitality sector projects in the state. Our efforts are focussed towards supporting the state’s vision to provide world-class hospitality experience to people.”

Speaking at the signing ceremony at Andhra Pradesh, Devidas Manghnani, business development head, Dream Valley Group, said, “We are happy to announce that, in a way, we already have ventured in by associating ourselves with Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department, we have taken up a property on the beautiful Beach of Yarada, Vishakhapatnam.”

He added, “Andhra Pradesh has huge scope for nature-based tourism, and our group is eager to expand on various tourist fronts, such as golf, beach, water sports or river (yacht tourism) and adventure. Our confidence and conviction are doubled under the stewardship and vision of Santosh Reddy, our chairman, and the young enthusiastic team of Prithvi Reddy and Akash Reddy.”
