Burger Singh, the largest chain of homegrown Indian-flavoured burgers in the quick service restaurant (QSR) category, has opened an outlet in Jaipur and will open another in the same city shortly. While the operational one is located in Mansarovar, the one which will open soon is on M I Road.

The current outlets at Mansarovar will be serviced by 20 employees. The number of employees is likely to go up as the sales from these outlets add to the business. The management for the Jaipur outlets will be taken care of by the head office in Gurugram, Haryana.

By mid-2019, Burger Singh plans to operate a total of five stores. The remaining two are touted to be operational in the second half of the year, hence the number of stores will total seven by the end of 2019. The brand is going to bring a whole new range of food offerings with Indianised burgers to the Pink City.

“Jaipur is a promising market for burgers in particular. The current players there have been turning over phenomenal numbers. As an established chain, we feel we will be able to add to the value proposition for the customer in terms of food, quality, and price,” said Kabir Jeet Singh, chief executive officer and founder, Burger Singh.

Rajasthan’s capital can now relish the exclusive taste of Indianised burgers, such as Chotu Singh, United States of Punjab (available in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian variants), Bunty Pappeh Da Aloo, Amritsari Murgh Makhani, Bihari Gosht and Malabar Express, among others, and the unique customised drink named Tony Pappeh Da Jeera Soda.

Burger Singh specialities include the vegetarian Keema Pao, the Pao Bhaji Burger and Channa Burger for the vegetarians, and the Malabar Express Chicken Burger, the Jaatputt Chicken Burger, the Amritsari Murgh Makhani Burger and the Udta Punjab Burger, amongst others.

Launched in 2014 by Singh and Nitin Rana, Burger Singh already has a strong and established presence in West and North India, with 26 outlets and counting. The company has already raised over $1 million in pre-seed funding from both strategic and angel investors.
