Cornitos, leading nacho brand in India, commemorates tenth anniversary

Greendot Health Foods Pvt Ltd’s flagship product Cornitos, India’s leading Nachos brand, is commemorating its tenth anniversary. As a gesture of appreciation, the company plans to launch special offers on the brand’s popular flavours soon.

Cornitos started its journey with just five flavours of nachos crisps and became the first Indian snack company to foray into the Nacho Crisps category in 2009. In a country where traditional munchies still rule the taste buds, bringing in the quintessential Mexican snack was a leap of faith.

Currently, the range is available in 300 Tier-I and II cities through a network of over 30,000 retailers, following a rapid expansion plan in Tier-III cities. Also, Cornitos products are exported globally to over 25 countries like the United States, Australia, China, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Hong Kong, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and South-East Asia.

Internationally, the brand has been gaining eminence by winning over the palates of their customers, and is now targeting to win over the United Kingdom and parts of West Asia.

Today, it has an extended brand portfolio, comprising over 10 flavours of nachos crisps, in addition to taco shells, specialty sauces, roasted nuts and seeds, and pickles - jalapeno peppers and gherkins.

With brands commitment to offer premium quality and taste to its consumers, Cornitos has been felicitated with Indian and international awards like SIAL China Innovation Awards, CMO Asia Awards and ET Now Global Awards.

What makes Cornitos Nachos contradistinct is its unique flavours and healthy ingredients.  It is made by Mexican lime-the treatment process of making traditional masa using stone ground non-GMO (genetically-modified organism) corn.

Cornitos is 100 per cent corn snack, cooked and baked in corn oil. It is a gluten-free snack which has zero cholesterol and zero trans-fats.
