Pandey operations director at Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel

The Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel has strengthened its dynamic team further with the appointment of Rohit Pandey as the new director of operations. In his new role, he will be leading business and strategic operations of the property.
Prior to joining Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel, Pandey, who has nearly two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, was the executive assistant manager at Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya.
Primarily responsible for overseeing smooth functioning of the hotel, he comes with experience that will help implementing the brand service strategy and initiatives. He has always been looked up to as a highly encouraging mentor and thrives on guiding teams to ensure that the services of the hotel are known for being the best in the city.
With 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Pandey has significantly contributed to yearly budgets and other strategic activities at the hotel.
In his previous job roles, he has been responsible for recruiting, selecting and developing department’s managers.
Pandey has been successful in repositioning the food and beverage department of the hotel through innovative sales and marketing strategies.
He has been instrumental in the pre-opening phases of several properties as an F&B manager, and having this experience will further benefit Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel, with him spearheading the key food and beverage outlets.
Pandey began his journey with Trident Agra, India (Oberoi Group), Taj Exotica Resort and Spa Maldives and Aman New Delhi, and was also a part of the pre-opening team of Avani Seychelles Barbarons Resort and Spa - Minor Hotel Group.
In his leisure time, he enjoys travelling, discovering new places and exploring different cuisines and cultures. He is enthusiastic about watching cricket, tennis and football, and occasionally enjoys picking up the bat and playing cricket.
