Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil, in association with chef and MasterChef India (Season 2) finalist Puneet Mehta, organised Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil presents Cook It Up with Chef Puneet Mehta, an exclusive cooking class for young executives in the city.
The objective of the class was to demonstrate cooking to young executives who are generally busy, showcase that how cooking can be fun and ensure a healthy lifestyle, giving immense satisfaction and relaxation.
As a part of the workshop, Mehta prepared exotic and easy-to-cook dishes with Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil, which is clear, light and low-absorbing.
These included Tortilla De Patatas (classic Spanish omelette), Pineapple with Mint and Vanilla, Cabbage with Coconut (microwave cooking), Paneer Oats Sprouts Shami Kebabs (Chef Puneet's creation), Spaghetti in Creamy Mushroom Sauce, Quesadilla (a classic Mexican dish), Cheese Onion Dip and Bhune Kaju/Roasted Nuts (microwave cooking).
Mehta appreciated the participation and mentioned that a lot of people loved the food, and he would like to do more such workshops in the city.
He said, “In this workshop, I demonstrated how to handle stress management through cooking. Cooking is an excellent management tool, which allows you to be independent while helping you learn out-of-the-box thinking, improving concentration and providing a tasty reward for the efforts.”
“Cooking is a marvellous art form, which can give immense satisfaction and relaxation. The dishes presented as a part of Freedom presents Cook it up with Chef Puneet Mehta were easy to cook and healthy, and being cooked in Freedom refined sunflower oil, would make you eat guilt-free,” Mehta said.
