The auspicious occasion of Navratri, which is just around the corner, symbolises purity and power. Keeping this in mind, Cornitos has introduced their Navratra special flavours, which are vegetarian and free from onion and garlic. They are available in three exotic flavours, viz., Sizzlin Jalapeno, Cheese and Herbs and Tomato Mexicana.

The Sizzlin Jalapeño flavour is a treat for spice lovers; Cheese and Herbs, as the name suggests, has a unique combination of cheddar cheese and cool Italian herbs, and juicy tomatoes and jalapenos make Tomato Mexicana an absolute delight for the senses.

Vikram Agarwal, director, Greendot Health Foods Limited (Cornitos), said, “Keeping the religious sentiments of our patrons in mind, we are offering our popular range with no onion no garlic flavour. No longer do our customers need to keep their cravings at bay, as they can savour these snacks during the auspicious time of Navratri.”

These flavourful crisps are made using special stone-ground food grade non-GMO (genetically-modified organism) yellow corn procured through contract farming.

The traditional Mexican lime-treatment process is used for making them. They are surface-fried in corn oil to golden brown, making them crisper.
