Volschenk appointed as general manager at Sheraton Grand Danang Resort

Sheraton Grand Danang Resort, a stylish luxury beachside resort on the stunning white sands of Non Nuoc beach in Vietnam, has appointed Carl Volschenk as general manager.
A veteran of the Marriott family for nearly 20 years, he brings an ideal mix of both sales and operations expertise to ensure the property continues to grow from strength to strength.
Volschenk started his career with Marriott International back in 2000 in Le Meridien Dubai Complex, and has, over the past 19 years, moved from across a variety of sales and marketing and operations roles.
Earlier assignments include the opening of the Four Points by Sheraton Complex in Dubai, the renovation of the Sheraton Oman, the remodelling of the Plaza Athenee Bangkok, A Royal Meridien as well as a stint as hotel manager in Le Meridien Bangkok.
He has joined the Non Nuoc property from his last position in Bangkok, where he was general manager of the Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok.
The resort offers six signature restaurants and bars featuring a variety of local and international cuisines, and Shine Spa for Sheraton, the group’s signature full-service spa.
