Del Monte has tied up with the Japanese heritage brand Kikkoman to unveil their soy sauce in India. It is now available at all major stores in metropolitan cities in 200ml and one-litre bottles. While the former are priced at Rs 140, the latter are priced at Rs 465. They have a shelf life of 18 months.

The soy sauce is brewed through a Japanese brewing process which takes months to mature. Made with four basic ingredients (soybean, wheat, water and salt), it is a balanced concoction with over 300 individual flavours and aroma components. It is a premium flavour enhancer.
