An a la carte Thai menu is on offer between 11am and 10pm at the three outlets of Café by Foodhall in Mumbai (at Palladium, Lower Parel; at Linking Road, Khar, and at Goregaon Central Mall), and will conclude on June 30, 2019. This is in addition to the main food and beverage menu.
Patrons can begin their meal with a choice of Tom Yum Soup (tofu or prawn) or Tom Kha Soup (tofu or chicken), followed by Thai corn cakes or Thai fish cakes, served with sweet chilli sauce and spicy cucumber slaw.
A refreshing Som Tam Salad will follow, made with raw papaya, long beans, carrots, cherry tomatoes, crushed peanuts and soy jaggery dressing.
Guests can also enjoy Thai Bhel, fried noodles, water chestnuts, green apples, scallions, peanuts, kaffir, lemongrass, bird eye’s chilli and sweet chilli dressing.
Raw summer rolls will be a great continuation to the meal. Vegetarians can enjoy tofu and glass noodle rolls, while non-vegetarians can savour basil chicken rolls, both served with sweet chili sauce and spicy mango dip.
Those who enjoy dimsum can sample the special menu’s tofu and water chestnut or curried shrimp options, served with sweet chili sauce and soy ginger dressing.
Also available are Thai Golden Parcels, in mushroom and tofu or minced chicken varietals, served with sweet chili sauce and spicy cucumber slaw.
Those looking for heartier options will enjoy the café’s Deconstructed Thai Curry Bowl, green or red Thai curry with jasmine rice, corn cakes, spicy green mango dip, cilantro and lime (options include tofu and vegetables, chicken or prawn); and the Deconstructed Pad Thai Bowl, Pad Thai noodles, stir-fried Asian greens, two steamed dim sum, mung sprouts and sweet chili sauce. Options include basil tofu or basil chicken.
