Sancho’s, the Mexican restaurant located at Bengaluru’s UB City, has rebranded itself as Sanchez Restaurante and Cantina. The eatery will unveil a new logo and a number of new dishes.

Sanchez’s offering includes an array of authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes, along with a bar dedicated to two of the finest Mexican exports, Tequila and Margarita.

Siddharth Mankani, director, lounge hospitality, Sanchez Restaurante and Cantina, said, “The new name reflects our firm commitment towards bringing to you authentic experiences of Mexican cuisine.”

“Familiar yet refreshingly new, we combine our tradition of love, hard work and passion for food and beverages with new additions to our menu to bring you an enhanced dining experience,” he added.

Karan Virwani said, “Sanchez means son of Sancho’s. While we welcome you to Sanchez, we also reassure you that all the things you loved about Sancho’s will always remain.”

Chef Vikas Seth has curated dishes with the subtle flavours of Mexico, while adhering to authentic Mexican standards.

The menu comprises guacamole prepared at table, Mexican ceviche made with the fresh catch of the day, homemade Mexican Chorizo Tamale, the Sanchez Burrito Bowls, Ajillo Smokey Chipotle Chicken, Zucchini, Corn Jalapeño Baked Potato skins and oozing Churros.

A meal at the restaurant is incomplete without Sanchez’s sumptuous signature dessert, Tres Leches.

“Sanchez Restaurante and Cantina is a lively Mexican restaurant that brings you a scrumptious slice of Mexican heritage and cuisine, in all its unique flavours, textures and aromas; and dishes that have never made it past the Mexican borders,” said Seth.

“It is a true representation of our food philosophy of keeping it fresh and flavoursome. At Sanchez, dining isn’t about reliving the charms of the oldest Aztec culture and its culinary brilliance, it is about creating an experience with emotions and delicious food,” he added.
