Saturday, 03 August, 2019, 08 : 00 AM [IST]
Sydney
Kurz, a leading supplier of metallised foil-based solutions for security and surface decoration, will be showcasing exciting and functional examples of foiling and embellishment at the PrintEx19 Labelling and Packaging Expo slated to take place in Sydney between August 13 and 16, 2019.

Designers and brand owners alike will learn how to elevate and differentiate their brands and products from the crowd with smart surface decoration that not only wows customers, but also protects them from the scourge of piracy and counterfeiting.

Stephen Pratt, managing director, Kurz Australia, will be presenting at 10:30am on August 14, 2019, on Why Shiny Matters to brands, and how Kurz Trustconcept solutions allow brand owners to protect their products without compromising brand image and well-designed packaging.

“We will be showcasing how Kurz optical security features merged with our Trustcode Base suite of solutions can protect products from counterfeiters without impacting brand representation,” he added.

“Our Trustseal brand protection devices and Trustcode software suite link visual effects to useful software tools and open up new opportunities for branding and market analysis. These same solutions also allow brands to track and trace products, communicate with their customers and enrich customer relationships,” Pratt said.

Hinderer Mühlich (H+M), a member of the Kurz Group, is the leading manufacturer of embellishment tooling and dies for the label and packaging industry. Hong Kong-based Dicky Lai, a renowned hot stamping die technology expert, will be at PrintEx19 to meet with designers and show them the effects created from H+M’s exclusive micro and nano dies.

Also at the conference, and running a hands-on workshop at the Kurz exhibition stand is Adrian Barbero, Kurz’s national technical specification manager, who specialises in print embellishment and packaging development.

“Foil printing is an elegant, eye-catching way to stand out in a crowded market and add a sophisticated finish to your product packaging. Those considering foils as part of a design, should stop by and pick up a copy of our five top tips for branding with foils,” he added.
