Freedom Refined Healthy Cooking Oil, as a part of their CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiative, joined hands with Spoorthi Foundation to support orphaned and destitute children for education and health care.
Freedom Healthy Cooking Oil Range donated Rs 4,00,000 to Spoorthi Foundation to support the poor poverty-ridden children. To further assist the cause, Freedom Healthy Cooking Oil Range will support a charity event as a part of their initiative Freedom Melody with singer Alka Yagnik, and present the fund raiser for Spoorthi Foundation.
Yagnik will perform at Shilpakala Vedika, Madhapur on June 22, 2019, with an expected engagement of over 2,000 people.
Freedom Healthy Cooking Oil Range cares for the society and extends support to several activities that uplift the underprivileged sections of the society. The donation to Spoorthi Foundation will help the children by providing basic needs, quality education, health care and skills necessary to transform them into responsible citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, P Chandra Shekhara Reddy, vice-president, sales and marketing, Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil, said, “As a part of our CSR initiative to support the education and well-being of the children from the marginalised sections of the society, we are happy and delighted to associate with Spoorthi Foundation in supporting the orphaned and destitute children.”
“Our contribution will help the foundation in supporting education for orphans and girl child. Freedom Healthy Cooking Oil Range is also privileged to present a fund-raiser programme for Spoorthi Foundation with the legendary singer Alka Yagnik in the city on June 22, 2019,” he added.
“We hope the people come in large numbers to enjoy the scintillating musical extravaganza and support Spoorthi Foundation in their great effort to uplift the under-privileged children in the city,” Reddy said.
