Fi India's '18 essay commences; Ingredients, tech innovations showcased

Technological innovations in the spheres of health and wellness were showcased alongside food, health and natural ingredients at the 2018 edition of Food Ingredients (Fi) India, which commenced in New Delhi.
The organisers of the event stated that the highlights of this essay include the Live Demonstrations, which are a series of educative sessions on a host of topics, ranging from ingredients to packaging.
At the Pre-Connect Congress, such topics as nutritional science and functional foods were deliberated upon by the experts, who focused on the recently-implemented FSSAI regulations that will have a direct impact on the food business operators (FBOs).
A Mobile App has launched to provide visitors and business delegates easy access to the updates about the event.
Technical seminars hosted by various Indian associations, covering market trends and the latest developments in the food and health spheres, will be held at the event, which will witness the participation of 250 exhibitors, including 50 from overseas.
Organisers said that the summit was designed to provide a platform to all the stakeholders, so that they can converge and discuss the best practices and collectively search for the solutions to comply with the regulatory framework for product manufacturing, marketing and research and development (R&D) challenges.
