Blogger Karmakar to launch The Travelling Belly at APB Cook Studio

Food blogger Kalyan Karmakar (of Finely Chopped fame) will launch his book, The Travelling Belly, between 5pm and 7pm at APB Cook Studio, Andheri (East), on January 28, 2017. While members of the APB Food Book Club can avail of a copy of the book by paying Rs 300 per head, non-members can do so for Rs 750. The fee is inclusive of a signed copy and taxes.

The book takes the readers on a gastronomic journey, which includes such places as Kolkata, Old Delhi (noted for its kebabs), Lucknow (renowned for the Tunday), Amritsar (known for its kulchas), Mumbai (famous for its Bohri meals), Hyderabad (famous for its biryani), Chennai (known for its dosa), Bengaluru (for its breakfast) and Goa (for the home-cooked meal). It is replete with recommendations from chefs and food writers across India.
