All Things Nice hosted the sixth edition of Celebrating India’s Finest, an event where the winners of the Indian Wine Consumer Choice Awards (IWCCA), held earlier this year, were recognised. The event, presented by HT 48 Hours, Hafele and Living Foodz in association with Lucaris Crystal Glassware and Cathay Pacific Airlines, took place at the  Hafele Design Centre SOBO recently.

Wineries showcased their winning wines along with their entire portfolio to an audience of absolute wine enthusiasts.

Approximately 250 guests, including members of All Things Nice, chief executive officers of leading Indian and multinational corporations, winery owners, Atma supporters, diplomats, chefs, restaurateurs, hoteliers and professionals from the wine fraternity were seen enjoying the wines on display.

All kinds of wine produced in India, from full bodied reds to fruity whites and dessert wines, were on offer.

Each year, the winners of IWCCA are recognised at Celebrating India’s Finest, an evening that showcases the best India can offer in the wine realm.

Wineries showcased their winning wines, along with their entire portfolio, to an audience full of wine enthusiasts from India and around the world in the company of wine makers and winery owners.

Nikhil Agarwal, sommelier and chief executive officer, All Things Nice, said, “The sixth edition of Celebrating India’s Finest was the biggest that we have put together so far. We had wonderful partners and I’m happy that our guests enjoyed the width of quality wines produced in India.”

“The sixth edition of Celebrating India's Finest was a tremendous success. The setting was perfect. We had over 250 guests, all of whom were wine enthusiasts making the energy at the event fantastic,” he added.

“I am glad that we were able to give attention to the winners, as well as Indian wine on the whole, as well as raise some money for Atma,” Agarwal said.

Delectable hors d’oeuvres carefully curated by Eat Drink Design and paired with the wide selection of wine completed the indulgent experience. Guests also enjoyed a fine selection of Pascati chocolates with the wine.

Some of the guests who attended included Peter Baldwin, regional director, India, Government of Western Australia; chef Vicky Ratnani; Alexander Bargstaedt, Volkswagen Finance Pvt Ltd; Juergen Wolf, managing director, Hafele India Private Ltd; Karan Grover, chef Anjali Pathak, Joris Dierckx, country head, BNP Paribas, and more.
