Noir, a dessert cafe founded by chef Manish Khanna, has opened its second outpost in Malad, inside the newly-opened Alfredos, after its successful launch in Juhu.

It offers a range of artisanal coffees, ice cream, desserts, cookies, cupcakes, teacakes, cheesecakes, pies, tarts, pastries and biscottis.

Khanna, who also owns Brownie Point and serves as partner at Noir, plates every dessert with the element of luxury.

The Sophia’s graduate spent his initial years at The Oberoi’s Airport services team (Mumbai Airport), Leela (Kempinski) and the Royal Caribbean Cruise.

Thereafter, he started to move around the world to work with the renowned chefs, picking the best in the art of desserts.

In the United States, he trained under various pastry chefs, including chef Mike at Tribeca Grill and Bakery, owned by actor Robert De Niro.

“Everytime I travelled, the culture of enjoying plated desserts caught my attention. At Noir, we believe in offering the finest desserts from the finest ingredients,” Khanna stated.

“We love the fact that the audience indulge in our plated desserts. This is my endeavour to present desserts that can be relished and enjoyed at a cafe and paired with any beverage they would like to,” he added.

Khanna said, “We know that Team Noir will win over the hearts in the newest outpost in Malad, just as we did in Juhu. It is a privilege to be continuing our partnership with Alfredos for the second out of Noir as well.”

“Noir is the statement that stands for classic and modern, is constant and yet evolves. With Noir, my drawing board just got even bigger. And I would love for our guests to enjoy one bite at a time and give Noir a chance to fill their appetite for all those sweet cravings,” he added.

The Malad outpost will witness the curation of some different combinations, where guests can relish their desserts with other accompaniments.

Its menu includes Baked Cheesecakes, Crunchy Hazelnut, Flourless Espresso Cake, Salted caramel ganache tart, Arabian Mahalabiya, Bourbon Cake, Belgian Chocolate Orange, cakes, artisanal coffee, rich ice cream and more.

Noir offers the audience beyond the regular and the product range has something for everyone. The chocolate cake is a heavenly option for chocolate lovers. It also offers guilt-free and almond-based desserts.
