After winning the Junior Pastry Indian Cup held in Mumbai last September, Kush Jadav and Vandana Konidala, both Academy of Pastry Arts, Bangalore centre, team members, are on their way to Italy for the World Junior Pastry-Making Championship. The championship will be held on January 19 and 20, 2019, in Rimini, Italy. Both team members have been mentored by chef Mukesh Singh Rawat.

The championship is also meant to be entertaining and allows the younger generation of pastry chefs to showcase their talents to a global audience. The theme of the championship is “Flying” and competitors will be required to capture the theme in artistic sugar and chocolate creations and in ingredients used to make desserts.
